Ultimately, it's unclear whether this will roll out in full, so for now, we can only wait and see. There were various reasons why this wasn't a good thing, or how YouTube was seen as being greedy. These are the pieces you will be cutting. When you click “Make It” at the top right of the screen the Cricut will separate each color onto different mats on the screen. Once your designs are sized properly you are ready to cut. The little shovels were pretty small so these designs needed to be sized quite a bit to fit. Just be careful that you have your design within your mat size. My mat is a 12″x 12″ but the inches on the screen show a lot more than 12. When I first started with the Cricut Maker and went into the design space I was thrown off by the measurements on the screen. You can also get a sense by the squares on the screen. The measurements of height and widths show along side the designs so you know exactly how big they are. Once you have the designs you like in your design studio you can resize them to the specific sized you need by clicking on the design and using the double arrow in the lower right corner of the box around the design. TIP: Open the design on your computer as you are placing the colors so you know where they go.Repeat these steps until all of the colors are done. Then move on to the next color and place it where it needs to be in relation to the first color.Start with one color, remove the backing from the design and place it onto the project.Add transfer tape to the top of the designs.Repeat these steps until all of the colors have been cut.Add another color vinyl to the mat for the second set of cuts.Once it is done, click the unload button and remove the vinyl piece.Load the mat and click the "cut" button.Add the color vinyl you want to the mat for the first set of cuts.Keep the "default" setting for pressure.After that is taken care of the machine will create a different color mat for each of the colors in your design.If you have used any designs that need to be purchased this is when you will be directed to pay. When they are perfectly sized you can hook up the Cricut Maker and click on "Make It".But if your designs are larger you will have no problems. This does make it harder to cut and weed so be patient. Most of my designs needed to be pretty small to fit on the little shovels and toys. Once they are in your Design Space you can change the sizes and make them perfect for what you need.You can check them out before you purchase.
